How the Roll-to-Sheet Cutting Process Works

A double rotary sheeter cuts the moving web to a preset sheet length using two synchronized rotary knives. Compared with a conventional chopping action against a fixed bed, the scissor-like shearing method lowers cutting load and leaves a clean edge with no burrs or dust. We build three models for different production priorities: continuous automated output (HSC-SS), high-speed short-length cutting (EXC), and balanced high-precision production (HSC-S).

Continuous production from roll to finished stack - no stop for reel splicing, knife changes, or stack unloading.
 Five automation systems working as one: An automatic splicer, slitting knives auto-position, a pallet feeder, stack auto-flow and non-stop delivery.
 The splicer joins the next roll without re-threading.
 Slitting knives auto-position resets the knives for the next order in minutes.
 The pallet feeder separates stacked empty pallets and feeds them one at a time.
 Stack auto-flow carries finished stacks out along the line while non-stop delivery uses patented insertion plates to unload a completed stack with collection continuing underneath.

EXC High-Speed Short-Length Double Rotary Paper Sheeter

450 cuts/min at 600 mm; 433 at 550 mm; 402 at 500 mm; 373 at 450 mm. Output varies with paper grade and machine configuration.
 The EXC runs up to 450 cuts/min - a 35% to 68% output increase over the standard model in the 450–650 mm range.
 Its full-width mesh belt carries sheets without edge impact or pressing-wheel scratches, while infrared size auto-adjustment, a reject gate, and the stack scale and height measurement system keep changeovers fast and stacks under control.
 An energy storage cabinet holds current draw to 10–15 A under full load, against 60 A without. Built for operations where cutting lengths are short and volumes are high.

A proven platform balancing precision, sheet quality and production efficiency.
 Servo-driven double rotary cutting knives shear the web like scissors rather than chopping it, so sheets leave the machine burr-free and ready to feed straight into a printing press.
 German bearings and low-backlash gearing run quieter and last roughly twice as long as conventional designs.
 The de-curler device flattens the web and steadies roll tension while the EPC system corrects lateral deviation in real time; then high- and low-speed transfer stages separate the sheets and slow them for clean stacking without surface marks.
 A dual-screen HMI handles parameter setting and production monitoring, one screen for remote access, parameter adjustment and troubleshooting over an internet connection.
