The EXC is built for one job: getting more sheets per minute out of short cutting lengths. Double rotary cutting knives shear the web under low load for burr-free edges, a full-width mesh belt carries the sheets without edge impact, and infrared size auto-adjustment resets the line from a single size entry. An energy storage cabinet holds current draw to 10–15 A under full load, against 60 A without. Released in November 2023.

EXC HIGH-SPEED DOUBLE
ROTARY PAPER SHEETER

Is The EXC The Right Paper Sheeter For Your Production?

It depends on your cutting lengths, your output target and how often you change size

The EXC suits paper converters, printers and packaging producers whose product mix runs to high volumes of short sheets with frequent size changes. To judge the fit, compare your paper structure and basis weight, roll dimensions, the cutting lengths you actually run, finished width, target speed, stack requirements, available floor space, and how much automation you need.

What Is The EXC

Paper Sheeting Machine?

A double rotary sheeter tuned for higher output at short cutting lengths, with automatic size setup and real-time stack monitoring.

The EXC is the high-speed version of the double rotary platform. The gain comes from the speed profile: at 450 mm it runs 373 cuts/min against 222 on the standard version, and it holds 450 cuts/min out to 600 mm. Around that core sit four supporting systems - a full-width mesh belt that carries sheets without pressing wheels, infrared size auto-adjustment for one-entry changeovers, a reject gate that pulls a defective sheet without stopping the line, and the stack scale and height measurement system for real-time stack data. Accuracy stays at ±0.15 mm throughout.

How The EXC Turns A Roll Into Finished Sheets

Key System

Full-Width Mesh Belt

Full-width carriage, no edge impact, no pressing-wheel marks
The integral mesh belt draws suction across the full sheet width, which improves surface smoothness and removes the risk of sheet edges striking the belt edges. Because the sheet is held by suction rather than pressing wheels, it arrives at the stack without wheel marks. Two transport stages step the conveying speed down so sheets settle cleanly.

Infrared Size Auto-Adjustment

One size entry, the whole line follows
Enter the cutting size on the touchscreen and the system adjusts the paper rolls, the conveyor pressing devices and the delivery jogging plates to match. The changeover is fully automatic, which removes the manual adjustment time that normally go with it.

Stack Scale &

Height Measurement System

Stack weight and height, read continuously
A scale mounted on the lifting platform displays stack weight in real time for recording, and a laser rangefinder measures stack height. Both readings are available without stopping the line or approaching the stack.

Electronic Control And Energy Storage

Siemens PLC, Emerson servo control, 30% lower consumption
The EXC runs on a Siemens PLC with an Emerson servo drive control system, and the rotary knife shaft is driven by an American CT servo drive. Working with the energy storage cabinet, this arrangement cuts power consumption by around 30% - 10 -15 A under full load against roughly 60 A without.

A Paper Sheeter Manufacturer Focused On Long-Term Production Value

Engineering, manufacturing and after-sales resources for complete

roll-to-sheet projects

Founded in 2001, Zhejiang Haosheng Intelligent Equipment Co., Ltd. designs and builds paper sheeting equipment and complete roll-to-sheet lines. We hold more than 180 patents and ISO 9001, CE and CSA certifications. Of nearly 200 employees, 11 form the core R&D team and 30 work in after- sales - including engineers holding valid U.S. visas and a service base in South America.

Configure The EXC For Your Production Conditions

Review the full line scope before the final quotation

Before we quote, we need to settle: the cutting lengths you run most often, roll width, basis weights and coatings, how sensitive the psper surface is, and how often you change jobs. One thing worth doing early - check the speed table at the lengths you actually run, not at the headline maximum. A machine quoted on its 600 mm figure can look very different at 900mm.

Built For Stable Operation And A Long Service Life

Precision cutting components, rigid structure, controlled sheet handling

The main machine wall is cast in high-quality ductile iron and developed through finite element and mechanical vibration analysis, which removes resonance between transmission components and keeps operation stable at speed. Rotary sheeter grooves are machined on imported machining centres. German precision bearings and low-backlash gearing run quieter in mesh and last roughly twice as long as conventional designs. Component brands, safety devices and the standard-versus-optional scope are set out in the signed technical agreement.

Support From EXC Selection To Commissioning

Installation, training, warranty and remote-support are confirmed in the quotation

We provide field installation, a one-year warranty, remote diagnosis and video guidance. Final service terms depend on destination and project scope. Send us your factory layout, utilities, access route and expected commissioning schedule early-on a 16-metre line, the access route in particular is worth checking before the machine ships.

What We Need To Specify

Your EXC

Five inputs for an accurate technical and commercial proposal

1. Your paper - type, basis weight, coating and surface requirements.
2. Your rolls - width, diameter, weight and core size.
3. Your sheets - finished width, the cutting lengths you run most, and slitting layout.
4. Your targets - cuts per minute or line speed, annual output, and stack requirements.
5. Your site - factory dimensions, power supply, compressed air, destination and required service scope.

EXC Frequently Asked Questions

  • How fast does the EXC run?

Up to 450 cuts/min, held from 600 mm down. At 450 mm it runs 373 cuts/min against 222 on the standard version - 68% more. Speed varies with cutting length, material and operating conditions, so it is worth checking the table at the lengths you actually run.
  • Why is the EXC suited to short sheets?

Its speed profile is built for them: The shorter the sheet, the wider the gap between the EXC and a standard machine. Infrared size auto-adjustment also makes the frequent size changes that come with short-sheet work quick to execute, and the full-width mesh belt keeps sheets stable at those speeds.
  • How much electricity does the energy storage cabinet save?

Around 30%. Under full load the line draws 10–15 A, against roughly 60 A without the cabinet.
  • How are stack weight and height measured?

A scale on the lifting platform displays stack weight, and a laser rangefinder measures stack height. Both read continuously.
  • What do you need to quote an EXC?

Paper type and basis weight, your main cutting lengths, roll dimensions, finished-sheet size, required cuts per minute, stack requirements, slitting layout, factory space, power supply and destination.
