Our servo driven sheeters cut with a rotating upper knife against a fixed lower knife - a simpler mechanism than double rotary cutting, and a less expensive one. Servo positioning tracks real-time speed feedback from the pull-roll encoder, and runs from touchscreens. Choose the standard HSC-B for multi-roll production, or the compact HSCJ-B where floor space is the constraint. Both are available with a nodular cast iron body (HSC-D and HSCJ-D) for higher cutting frequency.

SERVO DRIVEN PAPER
SHEETING MACHINES

Stable Sheeting Without Unnecessary Complexity

Stable Cut Length, Reliable Web Handling, Simple Operation, And A Price That Fits
For most printers and converters the priorities are straightforward. The cut length has to be stable. The web has to run straight. The machine has to be simple enough that any operator on the shift can run it. And it has to fit the budget and the floor. Servo positioning works from production settings and real-time speed feedback, staged transport separates and overlaps the sheets for stacking, and there is no automation on the machine that you have not asked for.

What Is A Servo Driven Paper Sheeting Machine?

It unwinds a roll, controls web alignment and tension, slits the web to width where required, cuts it to a preset length with a rotating upper knife against a fixed lower knife, and transports the finished sheets to the delivery table for collection. Servo positioning coordinates the cutter with production parameters and line-speed feedback, so the cut length stays accurate as the line speeds up and slows down.

Designed For Reliable, Economical Roll-To-Sheet Production

Choose The Servo Paper Sheeter That Fits Your Operation

HSC-D and HSCJ-D - the same two machines with a nodular cast iron body, reaching 400 cuts/min instead of 350. Worth it at short cutting lengths, where the cut rate rather than the line speed is what limits output.

Selection Guidance

Tell us your paper type and weight, roll dimensions, finished sheet size, output target, factory layout and slitting requirements, and we will confirm which machine and which configuration fit.

HSC-B Servo Driven High-Precision Paper Sheeter

Reliable, economical roll-to-sheet production across a broad range of paper types.
The HSC-B takes two, four or six unwind stands - more webs mean lighter papers can be run, down to 30 g/m².
Shaftless double-arm hydraulic frames carry reels of about 2.5 tonnes and load without a shaft, so roll changes are quicker and safer. A de-curler flattens the web, pneumatic slitting and trimming knives set the width, and the dynamically balanced upper knife roller keeps vibration and noise low at speed.
Multi-stage transport separates and overlaps the sheets before stacking. Also available as the HSC-D with a nodular cast iron body at 400 cuts/min.
30–550 g/m²
±0.3 mm Accuracy
450-1,650 mm Cutting length
Up to 350 cuts/min and 300 m/min
1,100 / 1,400 / 1,700 / 1,900 mm Maximum roll width

HSCJ-B Compact Single-Unwind Servo Paper Sheeter

An economical, space-saving layout for production areas with limited floor space.
The HSCJ-B does what the HSC-B does, on a single-unwind frame - the unwind section is where the floor space goes. Same cutting system, same controls, same automatic collection table that lowers as the stack builds and squares it on three sides.
The EPC system corrects lateral web deviation as it happens, which keeps the cutting width consistent and cuts edge-trim waste. One roll instead of several, so the paper range is 50–550 g/m².
Also available as the HSCJ-D with a nodular cast iron body at 400 cuts/min.
50–550 g/m²
±0.3 mm Accuracy
450-1,650 mm Cutting length
Up to 350 cuts/min and 300 m/min
1,100 / 1,400 / 1,700 / 1,900 mm Maximum roll width
The Difference Is The Unwind And The Machine Body

Servo Driven Paper Sheeter Comparison

All four share the same cutting system, controls, accuracy (±0.3 mm), cutting length (450–1,650 mm), maximum line speed (300 m/min) and roll widths (1,100 / 1,400 / 1,700 / 1,900 mm).
Model Best fit Paper weight Maximum speed Layout
HSC-B Reliable general production 30–550 g/m² 350 cuts/min 2 / 4 / 6 unwind stands
HSC-D Higher output at short lengths 30–550 g/m² 400 cuts/min 2 / 4 / 6 unwind stands, cast iron body
HSCJ-B Limited floor space 50–550 g/m² 350 cuts/min Single unwind
HSCJ-D Limited floor space, higher output 50–550 g/m² 400 cuts/min Single unwind, cast iron body

A Practical Process From Roll To Finished Stack

Confirm Basis Weight, Type And Curl Before You Commit To A Configuration

Match The Servo Sheeter To Your Paper

Which model suits your job depends on paper weight, type, curl and your finished-sheet requirements. The HSC-B covers 30–550 g/m² with four or six unwind stands; the compact HSCJ-B handles 50–550 g/m². For coated, laminated or specialty papers, send us a material sample or the full specification and we will confirm the fit before quoting.

Simple Control With Real-Time Production Feedback

Touchscreen Interface

Production data, machine status and fault indications are all on screens.

Servo Positioning

The cutter works from preset production parameters and speed feedback from the pull-roll encoder, so the cut length holds as the line speeds up and slows down.

EPC System

The EPC system detects lateral web deviation and corrects the web path as it happens, which keeps the cutting width consistent and cuts edge-trim waste.

Transport & Collection

Multi-stage conveyors separate, overlap and deliver finished-sheets to the stacker.

Remote Diagnosis

A remote screen connects over the internet, which lets our engineers read machine status, adjust parameters and diagnose faults from here - so most issues can be worked through in a call rather than waiting for someone to fly out.
Precision Components Where The Load Actually Is

Built For Stable Operation And A Long Service Life

The cutting unit carries the load in a single-knife machine, so that is where the material specification matters most. The upper knife is manufactured using British technology, which reduces cutting load and noise and extends blade service life; its roller is steel-welded and dynamically balanced to keep vibration low at speed. The lower knife holder is cast iron, integrally moulded and precision machined. German precision bearings and cutting knives hold accuracy over a long service life, and the reverse cutting knife is special alloy steel, machined to high precision and easy to adjust.

Confirm The Machine Around Your Production Conditions

Quotation System & Site Assessment

We evaluate roll handling, web guiding, slitting, cutting, transport, stacking and factory layout as one coordinated system. Before we quote, we need to settle: how many unwind stands you need, paper type and weight, power supply, available floor space, access for installation and your required production layout.

Service And Support

We provide field installation, a one-year warranty, remote diagnosis through the machine's second screen, and video guidance. Our engineers hold valid U.S. visas and we run our own service base in South America, so on-site support does not wait on paperwork. Send us your factory layout, utilities and access route early - compact machines usually go into buildings that were not designed around them, so the route in is worth measuring before anything ships.
Five Things We Need To Recommend The Right Machine

From Paper Specification To A Recommended Servo Sheeter

Frequently Asked Questions

  • What is the difference between HSC-B and HSCJ-B?

The unwind. The HSC-B takes two, four or six unwind stands and runs 30–550 g/m². The HSCJ-B takes one, runs 50–550 g/m² and takes noticeably less floor space. Cutting system, controls and accuracy are identical. If floor space is your constraint, the HSCJ-B; if light papers or volume are, the HSC-B.
  • What speed and accuracy are available?

±0.3 mm cutting accuracy across the range. Up to 350 cuts/min on the HSC-B and HSCJ-B, or 400 cuts/min on the cast iron HSC-D and HSCJ-D.
  • How light a paper can these machines run?

Down to 30 g/m², with four or six unwind stands. Light papers need the support of multiple webs through the cutting section - with one or two unwind stands the range is 50–550 g/m².
  • How does EPC web guiding help production?

It detects lateral web deviation and corrects the web path in real time. The cutting width stays consistent, edge-trim waste drops.
  • Which options can be added?

Two: the color code sensor and the dedusting roller. The automation systems available on the double rotary range are not offered on single-knife machines.
  • What information do you need for a quotation?

Paper type and weight, roll width and diameter, how many webs you want to run, finished sheet dimensions, target output, slitting requirements, power supply, available floor space and destination.
