Clean, Accurate Roll-to-Sheet Cutting for Paper and Cardboard
A proven ±0.15 mm platform for stable daily production

The HSC-S shears the web with two servo-driven rotary cutting knives, the way a pair of scissors cuts rather than the way a guillotine chops. Cutting load stays low, edges come out burr-free, and sheets can go straight to the press machine without edge trimming. German precision bearings and low-backlash gearing hold that accuracy over a long service life, while EPC web guiding, pneumatic slitting knives and staged transport keep the web straight and the finished sheets unmarked.

HSC-S HIGH-SPEED DOUBLE
ROTARY PAPER SHEETER

Is The HSC-S The Right Paper Sheeter For Your Production?

It depends on your material range, your accuracy requirement and your output target
The HSC-S suits paper mills, commercial printers, converters and packaging producers that run a wide material range and need dependable high-precision sheeting day after day. To judge the fit, compare your paper structure and basis weight, roll dimensions, cutting length, finished width, target speed, stack requirements, available floor space, and how much automation you need.

What Is The HSC-S

Paper Sheeting Machine?

A proven double rotary platform balancing precision, clean cutting, stable sheet handling and low running cost.

The HSC-S is the baseline model of the double rotary range, built on technology from Taiwan and Germany and on more than two decades of sheeting experience. Servo-driven rotary cutting knives cut to ±0.15 mm across 80–1,000 g/m². Slitting knives trim the web to width with clean edges and no dust, so sheets transfer directly to printing. The transfer section runs a fast stage and a slow stage: the fast stage separates the sheets for counting, the slow stage lets them settle into the stack, with deceleration wheels protecting the surface from scratches and marks. An energy storage tank cuts electricity consumption by around 30%.

How The HSC-S Turns A Roll Into Finished Sheets

Key System

EPC Web Guiding

The web stays straight, the feeding direction stays consistent
The EPC system sits in the unwinding section and corrects lateral web deviation in real time. It stops the web from wandering, reduces edge trim waste, and removes the stops that manual re-alignment would otherwise cost.

Pneumatic Slitting And Trimming

Fine adjustment on slitting knives, waste cleared by vacuum
The up slitting knife uses pneumatic movement to adjust. A vacuum blower and Y-shaped exhaust pipe carry the trim waste out of the line.

Cutting Unit

Imported machining, low-backlash gearing, low noise
The rotary sheeter grooves are machined on HAOSHENG CNC centre for accuracy and stability, and the web is cut without burrs. The gearbox uses low-backlash gearing - quieter in mesh, and roughly twice the service life of a conventional gearbox.

Touchscreen And Servo Control

Siemens PLC, Emerson servo drives, energy storage
The HSC-S runs on a Siemens PLC with an Emerson servo drive control system, and the rotary knife shaft is driven by an American CT servo drive. Working with the energy storage cabinet, this arrangement cuts power consumption and running cost.

Dual-Screen HMI

One screen for the line, one for remote access
The main Siemens touchscreen handles parameter setting, production monitoring and daily operation. A communication screen at the cutting unit connects over the internet, so parameters can be adjusted and faults diagnosed remotely without waiting for an engineer to travel.

A Paper Sheeter Manufacturer Focused On Long-Term Production Value

Engineering, manufacturing and after-sales resources for complete roll-to-sheet projects

Founded in 2001, Zhejiang Haosheng Intelligent Equipment Co., Ltd. designs and builds paper sheeting equipment and complete roll-to-sheet lines. We hold more than 180 patents and ISO 9001, CE and CSA certifications. Of nearly 200 employees, 11 form the core R&D team and 30 work in after-sales - including engineers holding valid U.S. visas and our own service base in South America.

Configure The HSC-S For Your Production Conditions

Review the full line scope before the final quotation

Before we quote, we need to settle: paper structure, basis weight and coating, roll diameter and width, the slitting arrangement, finished sheet size, how sensitive the sheet surface is, your output target, and whether you want remote support configured. Final speed depends on cutting length and material, so it is worth telling us the lengths you actually run.

Built For Stable Operation And A Long Service Life

Precision cutting components, rigid structure, controlled sheet handling

The main machine wall is cast in high-quality ductile iron and developed through finite element and mechanical vibration analysis, which removes resonance between transmission components and keeps operation stable at speed. Rotary sheeter grooves are machined on imported machining centres. German precision bearings and low-backlash gearing run quieter in mesh and last roughly twice as long as conventional designs. Component brands, safety devices and the standard-versus-optional scope are set out in the signed technical agreement.

Support From HSC-S Selection To Commissioning

Installation, training, warranty and remote-support are confirmed in the quotation

We provide field installation, a one-year warranty, remote diagnosis and video guidance. Our engineers hold valid U.S. visas and we run our own service base in South America, so on-site support does not wait on paperwork. Send us your factory layout, utilities, access route and expected commissioning schedule early - on a 16-metre line, the access route in particular is worth checking before the machine ships.

What We Need To

Specify Your HSC-S

Five inputs for an accurate technical and commercial proposal

1. Your paper - type, basis weight, coating and surface requirements.
2. Your rolls - width, diameter, weight and core size.
3. Your sheets - finished width, cutting-length range and slitting layout.
4. Your targets - cuts per minute or line speed, annual output, and stack requirements.
5. Your site - factory dimensions, power supply, compressed air, destination and required service scope.

HSC-S Frequently Asked Questions

  • How does the HSC-S differ from the EXC?

The HSC-S is the standard high-precision platform, balanced across the full material and length range. The EXC is the high-speed version: it runs significantly faster at short cutting lengths and adds a full-width mesh belt, infrared size auto-adjustment, and the stack scale and height measurement system. If most of your work sits at short lengths, the EXC pays for itself; if your lengths vary widely, the HSC-S is usually the better buy.
  • Can finished sheets go directly to printing?

Yes. The double rotary knives shear rather than chop, so the edges come out clean, burr-free and without dust - no edge trimming needed before printing.
  • How much electricity does the energy storage tank save?

Around 30%. Under full capacity the line draws 10–15 A, against roughly 60 A without it.
  • What do you need to quote an HSC-S?

Paper type, basis weight, roll dimensions, cutting-length range, finished sheet width, output target, slitting requirements, power supply, factory layout and destination.
